Information:- Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has published a notification application from eligible candidates for one year of Technician & Trade Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act, 1961 The candidate who is interested in doing this job by filling in the eligibility criteria may read the advertisement notification and can apply online.IOCL proposes to engage Apprentices in Technical and Non-Technical trades at its locations under its 5 Regions viz. Eastern Region Pipelines (ERPL), Northern Region Pipelines (NRPL), South Eastern Region Pipelines (SERPL), Southern Region Pipelines (SRPL), and Western Region Pipelines (WRPL).

Qualification Details:

  • For Technician Apprentice (Mechanical/Electrical & T&I) : 03 years/Lateral Entry (After ITI) Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Electrical/Electrical & Electronics/Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Telecommunication/) Electronics & Radio Communication/Instrumentation & Control /Instrumentation & Process /Electronics Engineering.
  • For Trade Apprentice (Accountant):Full Time Bachelors degree (Graduation) in Commerce.
  • For Trade Apprentice (Assistant-Human Resources):Full Time Bachelors degree (Graduation) .
  • For Data Entry Operator and For Domestic Data Entry Operator: Minimum 12 th pass (but below graduate)
Salary/Stipend For IOCL Apprenticeship:

  • Rate of stipend payable to apprentices per month shall be as prescribed under Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 / Apprentices Rules 1992 (as amended) and Corporation’s guidelines.
 Important : Period of Training

  • For Technician Apprentice (Elect/Mech/T&I): 12 months
  •  For Trade Apprentices (Assistant HR/Accountant): 12 months
  • For  Data Entry Operator and Domestic Data Entry Operator: 12 months
Important Dates
  • The Starting Date for Online Application: 12-01-2024 .10.00 AM).
  • The Last Date for Online Application: 01-02-2024 (06.00 PM).
  • Date of downloading Admit Card : From 09.02.2024 05:00 PM – till 08:00 AM of 18.02.2024
  • The Tentative date for written test : 18.02.2024 (Sunday)
Application fee 
  • No Application fee is required for applying for these posts.
Age Criteria as on 12.01.2024
  • The minimum age for the unreserved candidates is 18 Years.
  • The Maximum age for the unreserved candidates is 27 Years.
  • Upper age is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates for the trades reserved for them.
  • Age relaxation for others is as per the rule.
