Information:-Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has published a notification for the engagement of Experienced personnel on a contract basis under POWERGRID, Western Region Transmission System-II.The engagement shall be purely on a temporary & contractual basis for a period of 24 months initially or till the completion of projects, whichever is earlier. This PGCIL Recruitment 2024, The actual engagement may vary depending on the requirements and status of projects. Important For Power Grid Recruitment 2024

  • For field Supervisors Higher technical qualifications like B.Tech. / BE / B.Sc (Engg.) / M.Tech. / ME etc. with or without Diploma is not allowed at the time of applying and joining.
  • Should have one year post qualification experience of Construction/testing & commissioning / civil works etc. in rural electrification (RE) / distribution management system (DMS) / sub-transmission (ST) / transmission lines (TLs) / substations (S/S), etc. Experience in PSU / Listed company particularly in the power sector shall be preferred.
  • The vacancies for future anticipated projects are tentative and subject to the condition that new TBCB Projects are won by POWERGRID, WR-II. Offers for engagement against these vacancies shall be given only to the extent of requirement against TBCB Projects won / to be executed by POWERGRID, WR-II.
Salary for PGCIL Field Engineer & Field Supervisor Recruitment 2024

  • The salary for Field Engineer posts shall be paid monthly remuneration in the pay band of Rs 30,000-3%-1,20,000/- with initial basic pay of Rs 30,000/- + Industrial DA + HRA + Perks @ maximum 35 % of basic pay.
  • The salary for Field Supervisor posts shall be paid monthly remuneration in the pay band of Rs 23,000-3%-1,05,000/- with
    initial basic pay of Rs 23,000/- + Industrial DA + HRA + Perks @ maximum 35% of basic pay.
